Orange Sauce

1.5 c of water and/or chicken broth

2 tbsp orange juice

zest and juice of one lemon

1/3 c apple cider vinegar

1.5 tsp orange zest

2/3 c brown sugar

1/3" piece of ginger, peeled and grated

1/3 bulb of garlic, crushed

2 tsp red pepper flakes

3 tbsp corn starch


Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.  You can use this as a marinade for chicken or tofu.  If using tofu, press the water out first.


Triple for use with a 5 lb pack of chicken breasts
