Jambalaya

Put in crock pot
1 whole chicken - take skin off legs & debone breasts.  Keep skin & bones
2 tsp black pepper
1 small can tomato paste
2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp cayenne
1 c broth

Grind in little grinder
1 bulb garlic
a couple pieces of fresh oregano
4 bay leaves
Add to crock pot.  Cook chicken 4 hours, until cooked through.  Pull out bones and chicken.  Strain broth (to get all of the ookies out) and put back in crock pot.  Shred chicken.

Add
2.5 c brown rice
1 diced onion
1 chopped bunch of celery
2 diced green peppers
about 12 chopped roma tomatoes
Cook about 2 hours until rice is soft.  Add chicken back in.

Note:  Didn't get the proportion of liquid/rice right.  This needs more experimentation.

Also, this isn't proper jambalaya.  I didn't put sausage and shrimp in.
