Guacamole 10/10
Dice two very ripe (but not rotten) avocados into roughly 1/4"
cubes. (Try cutting the avocados into quarters, peeling them off
of the pit, and the cutting them in the skin. Then flip the skin
inside out over a bowl.)
Squeeze the juice from one lime.
Add 1/2 tsp salt and/or 1/2 of a very finely diced jalapeno pepper. (Wear gloves when cutting jalapenos as they will give chemical burns.)
Mash lightly by hand. You should be able to see chunks of avocado still. (Wash your hands after mashing if you used jalapenos.)
Source: This is my own invention but I did draw inspiration from several other guacamole recipes.
Notes:
Avocados MUST be ripe.
Don't mash with a blender or cuisinart.
Best made the day you need it. It goes bad in 2 days.
A wonderful staple. This is how I get my avocado fix.
Goes well with tortilla chips or fajitas or tacos.
